Pro or beginner – in the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen im Zillertal every snowboarder will find his favorite line. Five separate lines with 34 boxes/rails, 2 hips, 11 jumps and a halfpipe make it possible to carefully approach the bigger obstacles. The rookies of the Zillertal, international pros but also beginners have lots of possibilities. Since last season there is even a special Kids-Park right next to the Vans Penken Park where young shredders and beginners can try some freestyle tricks. After your run, the 4-person chairlift Sunjet takes you up to the entrance of the park again. The Vans Penken Park is host to many events such as the Oakley Jib Vid which takes place from 17 to 20 March or Junk & Funk Session by Vans & Onboard at the end of the season on 10 April. Every Tuesday and Saturday a professional photographer is shooting the riders in the park. A team of 10 shapers and six snowcat drivers shapes the park twice a day to ensure perfect conditions.
